Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without any special treatment.
People may also become infected by touching a contaminated surface and then touching their eyes, nose, or mouth.
The virus that causes COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. These droplets are too heavy to hang in the air and quickly fall on floors or surfaces. You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose, or mouth.
Practice frequent hand washing. Wash hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand rub. Wash hands even if they are visibly clean.
Cover your nose and mouth with a handkerchief/tissue while sneezing and coughing.
Throw used tissues into closed bins immediately after use.
See a doctor if you feel unwell (fever, difficult breathing, and cough). While visiting a doctor wears a mask/cloth to cover your mouth and nose.
Stay in your home and fight coronavirus.

Don’t use over-the-counter medicines if you are suffering from dry cough, back pain, nausea, and shortness of breath.
