Mr. Sameer Agarwal- The comments by the RBI can be seen in the somewhat hawkish policy and also risk of high inflation remains given the increase in expected oil rate to $100/ barrel from $75 earlier and RBI in my view may take more measures to normalize surplus liquidity then increase policy rates. I expect interest rates may remain volatile in the next 3-6 months due to Hawkish Fed, higher domestic supply, and gradual withdrawal of RBI policy support in the next 2 policy meetings.

But, to my mind, the rate hike as and when it happens should not be a major worry for the CFOs unless and until there is a problem in demand and supply in the markets...CFOs have reduced debts on the books during the pandemic, which should help them tackle the impending rate hike.
